Only six days after finishing their run of Tom Sawyer in St. Ives, SIYT presented an electrifying preview of VISION the musical to a near sell-out audience at Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre.
The Rt. Rev. Michael Evans, Bishop of East Anglia, joined the audience and thanked the cast at the end of the performance, praising them for their superb depiction of the life Bernadette and the beginning of Lourdes. He spoke about the energy and enthusiasm of the cast and he was confident that Vision would be the best show at the Fringe and would go down a storm. A review of the performance in the British Theatre Guide published on Wednesday said....
"wealth of talent in this strong youth theatre"
"infectious and inspiring"
"their performance will not leave you disappointed"
Cardinal Keith O'Brien will be SIYT's guest at an early performance of the show in Edinburgh and the cast will open Sweet Venues press launch at the Fringe. Vision can be seen at 2.30pm each day during the opening week of the festival, 8th-15th August at Sweet ECA - Venue 186. As always for more information, please visit www.siyt.co.uk or follow SIYT on Facebook and twitter.
