Following the huge success of Vision in July, SIYT are due to go on tour to Liverpool, the European City of Culture, later this month. This will be the first time SIYT has been on the road since their acclaimed production of Korczak at the 2005 Edinburgh Fringe.

However, before leaving there is the chance to join the company at Open Auditions on September 20th .  There are just a places available for both boys and girls in this established theatre company for young people. 

You must be in Year 7 and above, and really have the energy and enthusiasm for theatre to be considered.  You don’t have to be the greatest actor or singer, but who knows, maybe you will become the greatest star.

The Youth Theatre meets every Thursday night in term time so it is a regular commitment.  They stage a major production every summer and a straight play most winters.  The company is planning Romeo and Juliet for the spring, providing they can get a venue in St. Ives.  Apart from the productions, they also enjoy participating in various workshops and events throughout the year.
