| Sponsorship and Donations |
St. Ives Youth Theatre is a non-profit making organisation. Unlike, the vast majority of Theatre Companies we have no permanent home - a situation we would like to address - and the cost of local venues is rising. Our very successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2005 cost around £15,000 to support. Whilst the company works very hard at fund-raising, sponsorship can allow us to take on more ambitious productions, perform more widely and deliver a even better experience for our members - giving teenagers greater life skills. | Friends of SIYT |
Friends of SIYT are a select group that provide a little extra support to SIYT. In return for an annual subscription of £50 per season (September to July), receive a free ticket and programme for each production, an invitation to meet the Company and Directors at our VIP and Cabaret Evenings and are acknowledged in our programme and website.
Membership is limited to 50 people at any one time - if this scheme interests you, please contact Ian Lloyd or drop an email to info@siyt.co.uk.

SIYT's next productions are Journey's End, Midsummer Night's Dream and a musical production in summer 2011. The productions are planned for performance in November 2010, March 2011 and July 2011 in St. Ives.

We have two main productions a year, but to develop the company we actually organise youth activities for around 36 weeks of the year.We are always in need of time, funding and enthusiasm - If you would like to be a volunteer or can offer educational or theatrical tuition, please call Jonathan on 07939 213771, Mik on 07855 807120 or send us your contact details (including a phone number) by email. |
